Koch Pipeline Co. L.P said it may restart an existing crude oil pipeline system in the northeastern section of the Eagle Ford Shale, known as the Eaglebine.

The possible restart in 2016 includes pipeline, storage and truck unloading stations in north central Burleson and eastern Lee counties.

Last year, Koch Pipeline restarted a 56-mile section of the system in south central Bastrop County.

Koch Pipeline Co. owns or operates more than 4,000 miles of pipelines in Texas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Illinois for crude oil, refined products, natural gas liquids and chemicals. It’s a subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc.

“As a company we are always exploring ways to provide value for our customers,” said Steve Kromer, president of Koch Pipeline, in a news release. “We are excited about the opportunity to possibly restart this pipeline to provide enhanced transportation alternatives to Eaglebine producers.”
